The Ultimate List of People To Follow on Twitter

Now that we can’t randomly meet new people, I thought I’d share my collection of recommendation lists that people often put up on their blog.

I have to warn you, these lists are HUGE, so use it responsibly. Remember that Twitter only allow you to follow 1000 people per day. And even then, I suggest you do it slowly to avoid to be seen as spammer.

If you find that I haven’t included any list that you know of, please let me know on the comment, and I will include it in the list.

Finally, this list is a live list, I will add more as and when I see new ones, so make sure to come back and check it from time to time. Or even better, follow our twitter account to get notified when the list is updated.

[UPDATE:] All updated list will be added within their category, marked with the date when the list was added.

[UPDATE 2:] Ignore the above update :) You would think that after the 3000+ people, that that’s it, the end of the list. Well, I could not be more wrong. The list hasn’t stopped, everyday there are either new ones, or old ones that I haven’t discovered.

So for the sake of my sanity .. and yours … I will stop listing them under their categories, I will instead put them together in one update section, which will be marked by date and will be put at *the end* of the post, i.e. the list will be sorted in ascending order of update date.

Therefore, if you’ve already been here before and you are looking for new update, you can just scroll down to the end of the post.

I divided the list into several more-digestible categories where each represents roughly the same domain of interest:
